RIVERS CRISIS TAKES NEW TURN AS FUBARA DARES WIKE TO A STAND STILL.
…Says ”I will demonstrate To WIKE That Without A SIM card, he’ ll be unable to place a call to Abuja, Where he receives directives to act against his own people”.
…Directs Indigenes to Embark on Three day Stay At Home Order, Stockpile Food supplies too.
Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers state has threatened brimstone and fire as he ordered a complete shutdown of movement from Port Barcode to other states in Nigeria.
Additionally he has directed all NNPC facilities in the state to cease operations and vacate the state immediately. In a public address, the Governor was seen asking indigenes to stockpile food supplies and remain indoors for a period of three days citing heightened security concerns.
He further declared Rivers a ”Militant State” signalling a bold and controversial move to assert autonomy amid an intensifying conflict with his predecessor, Nyesom WIKE, the Former Governor and Current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
In his words’I will demonstrate to WIKE that without a SIM card ,he will be unable to place a call to Abuja, where he receives directives to act against his own people.’
Fubara ‘s administration has framed this escalation as a response to what it describes as Wikr’s dictatorial influence, accusing him of orchestrating destabilizing actions against the state
