NSCDC FEMALE SQUAD PERFORMED SIMULATION EXERCISES IN PREPAREDNESS IN RESPONSE TO EMERGENCY DURING THE ICDO DAY

On the 1st March 2025. Every calendar year is being celebrated as the International Civil Defence Organisation(ICDO) Day. The celebration this year which was a week long activity of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC a member body of the International Organisation Headquarted in Geneva Switzerland came to a close on monday, march 3rd, 2025 as well attended by dignitaries amongs other security agencies with lined up events which included a special parade reviewed by the Commandant General and other performances by the various units like CTU, SF, CBRN, K9, Disaster units, Mining Marshall and Agro Rangers together with other units of the corps across the States and Zonal Commands. 

The Female Squad as always everly active as ignited by its establishment driving force of the Commandant General's vision, took a centre stage as lots of simulations were done which most importantly and practicably the display on how to rescue students from schools during emergencies  specifically from bandits attacks which has formed a major challenge in the nation's wellbeing. The programme came to a close at about 14:30hrs. In addition on the 4th March 2025. The female squad also beef up security at the NHQ Cooperative society holding at masaka and kuje Axis for the distribution of keys to her personnels and the keys was distributed by the Commandant General(Dr Abubarka Ahmed Audi mni ofr)
