OGUN POLICE INVESTIGATE STOLEN VEHICLE CASE, URGE RESIDENTS TO TAKE EXTRA SECURITY MEASURES
The Ogun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the theft of a vehicle removed from a residential compound in Obalende, Ogun State.
On February 20, 2025, at about 1300hrs, Mr Olarenwaju Adeyemi ‘F’ of Mosumola Mebudu Compound, behind AM2PM, Molipa Express, reported at the police station that she woke up to discover that her Nissan Primera (blue in color) with registration number LSD 290 BH, chassis number SJUFCAP1140342403, and engine number SR203412190 had been stolen from where it was parked within her compound.
Upon receiving the report, the police mobilized a team of detectives to the scene for investigation, and efforts are ongoing to recover the stolen vehicle and apprehend those responsible.
The Ogun State Police Command urges all residents to take extra precautions to safeguard their valuables, especially vehicles, by:
✅ Parking in well-secured and well-lit areas.
✅ Installing anti-theft security devices, such as steering locks, tracking systems, and alarms.
✅ Reporting suspicious movements around parked vehicles to the nearest police station.
The public is encouraged to provide any useful information that could assist in recovering the stolen vehicle by reaching out to the nearest police division. Further updates on the investigation will be communicated.
