Woman Arrested For Killing Her Husband Over Daughter's Birthday Party

For refusing to release money for their daughter’s one year birthday party Bala Haruna is now lying lifeless at the mortuary after his wife stabbed him to death.This sad incident occurred on September 17, 2019 at Surulere area of Lagos.
The wife now suspected murderer was arrested by Homicide detectives from Surulere Division.
Stella Peter allegely stabbed her live-in lover of No 2 Tejuosho Avenue, Surulere Lagos.
It was the result of an argument which  ensued between them which turned violent.
A statement by the Lagos State Police Command Spokesman, DSP Bala Elkana states that “the woman used a kitchen knife to stab the man in the back which led to his death. The woman accused the man of refusing to release money for their daughter’s birthday party.
Homicide detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba have taken over the investigation. The suspect confessed to the commission of the crime. She will be charged to court for murder”
