A statement issued by the command’s spokesman, Chike Oti, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said the policemen were alleged to be counting bribes they collected on duty.
He said: “Based on the video that went viral on social media, the Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, ordered for their arrest, detention and trial. The men are currently facing disciplinary actions that could lead to reduction in rank or dismissal. It is wrong to engage in such distracting activity while on duty.
The CP Lagos encourages members of the public to always report or expose indiscipline and unprofessional policemen to the police authority.
