Police arraign killers of Jumia agent in court today
Sequel to the conclusion of investigation on the murder of Jumia
delivery agent in Port Harcourt by the Rivers State Police Command, the
suspects will to be arraigned in court today.
The three suspects who gruesomely murdered the late Eleje Chukwuma, on
Saturday March 25, will be facing a three-count charge bordering on
conspiracy, armed robbery and murder.
It would be recalled that the suspects identified as Sodineye
Mbatumukeke, Excel Divine Naaba and Joy Eluwa (female) robbed,
murdered and dumped the corpse of the Jumia agent in a septic tank at
Location, off Ada-George Road in Port Harcourt.
During police investigation, it was revealed that the victim had gone
to the house of the suspects to deliver two phones and a motorcycle
that were ordered via online.
However, the state Commissioner of Police, Zaki Ahmed who disclosed
the court proceedings to newsmen, reiterate the command’s readiness to
prevent and detect crime and prosecute offenders.
Ahmed urged the public to partner with and support the Police by
providing useful and credible information that will aid policing in the
